Nokia 114 - Series 40 dual-SIM phone launched in India for Rs.2549


                               Back in December 2012, an entry level phone called Nokia 114 appeared over the Nokia India’s website and today, Nokia has officially announced the launch of the mobile phone running on Nokia’s Series 40 OS with GPRS/EDGE connectivity.

The Nokia 114 is a dual-SIM mobile phone which arrives with Nokia’s Easy Swap technology enables users to switch SIM cards without turning off the phone. The phone comes with the innovative, cloud-accelerated Nokia Xpress browser, which allows up to 85% more efficient mobile browsing while providing users with direct access to Facebook and Twitter from the home screen.
The Nokia 114 packs in the following features and specifications:
 
  • 1.8-inch TFT screen
  • Display resolution of 160 x 128 pixels
  • 16 MB internal memory, expandable to 32 GB via microSD card
  • Nokia Series 40 OS
  • Dual-SIM connectivity with Easy Swap
  • VGA camera
  • GPRS/EDGE connectivity
  • Bluetooth v2.1 with EDR
  • FM with RDS
  • 1020 mAh battery
  • 10.5 hours of talktime, 637 hours of standby


The Nokia 114 will be available in three color options: Black, Cyan and Dark Purple for prospective buyers and Nokia has priced the mobile phone at Rs.2549 but it could be available for as low as Rs.2205 at Nokia Shop where it is currently out-of-stock.
